       Hi guys :), 

    My name is Desiree Haghgoo and I'm in 11th grade and go to Everglades High. So I chose this class because I love film, but I'm not so obsessed with it to the point where I'd want to pursue a career with it, I just think it's cool. However, although it's only been a week of school, I'm so far loving this class, probably one of my favorites honestly. 

    Some of my favorite movies are 'Silence of the Lambs', 'Finding Nemo', 'Mean Girls', 'How to lose a guy in 10 days' , 'Gone Girl', and 'Flipped'. My favorite movie genre is probably horror but I also am a HUGE sucker for romantic comedies and romantic dramas. 

    A little bit about myself... I LOVE reading (specifically romance novels), I love being with my best friends, I love being with my dog, and being with my family. During my free time, when I'm not flooded with homework, I spend my time walking around Barnes & Noble or eating Sushi (best food ever, Japanese people are AMAZING). 

Some fun facts about me are that my favorite color is PINK. I am indeed a pink enthusiast. I feel like I am the epitome of a 'girly girl' I obsess over boys with my best friends, I love chick flicks, I have many celebrity crushes (Harry Styles...), I enjoy painting my nails, shopping for cute clothes, doing cute hairstyles, and wearing sundresses. 

Even though I am indeed a girly girl... I consider myself an introverted girly girl. I honestly only have 4 friends and I rarely leave my house. BUTTTT I wouldn't have it any other way, having too many friends stresses me out so much and in our world, we never know how safe we are when we step outside so I stay home a lot. 

My music taste is sort of all over the place, I'm a HUGEEEEEEE Taylor Swift fan, her music is literally life changing. I adore Harry Style's music, I can't help but bust a move. Phoebe Bridgers (you might now know her, she's kind of underground) is my main person I listen to when I want to feel sad and depressed. Since I'm half Latina, I obviously listen to Hispanic music, Shakira, Bad Bunny, and Rosalia are a few of my favorites. I'm also half Iranian but unfortunately my dad never taught me the language so I don't listen to Persian music, BUT I still listen to a little bit of it and hum along. 

Anyways, now that you know more about me, I hope you like me :D! If you don't that's okay I guess... to each their own. 

P.S: Today is August 26th, and my birthday is September 17 which means IT'S MY BIRTHDAY IN 3 WEEKS AND 1 DAY WOOOHOOO!
