Preparing to film!

 

WE FINALLY HAVE OUR FIRST FILMING DAY!! 

We have finally decided that Friday, February 11th will be our very first day of filming! On this day of filming, we are planning on recording the bathroom scene, which I will star in. Here are some of the details pertaining to this day. 

TIME: Roughly 4:30/5:00 P.M

LOCATION: Alexa Naranjo's house

EVERYONE'S ROLES: Desiree (me): ACTING 

Lucia & Alexa: DIRECTING/HANDLING CAMERA EQUIPMENT

Kimora: CHECKING OFF STORYBOARD

After we finish filming, we are planning on uploading everything to Alexa's MacBook and beginning the editing process to see what we like and do not like. Also, to get more comfortable with our editing software (iMovie), we want to edit this day. 

Because we already have our storyboard and know what shots we need/want, that is a great advantage. We won't be stressed and be questioning the entire time what shots look good or look bad. Also, we have already had multiple prior discussions about the costuming, props, etc...

As for the challenges... there have been quite a few, specifically with timing. All of us have drastically different schedules so planning February 11th as the actual day took a lot of compromise and struggle. Also, because we all have extra-curricular and after-school clubs, finding the right time was hard. Settling for February 11th still had its hardships. Alexa and Kimora have after-school responsibilities, and Lucia and I have homework, but if all goes well, then we will be able to film from 4:30-7:00 without an issue. (hopefully...)

We have other days planned for filming (Feb 13th, Feb 19th) for further scenes.
