The changes we have made thus far

 

Hello Blog, we have had QUITE the amount of changes that we have had to make so here I will dedicate an entire post to the failures that we have had. On the bright side, everything has been resolved!

CHANGE #1: FILM TIME HAD TO GET ADJUSTED

After our amazing first day of filming (02/11), our group agreed to have our second day of filming be 02/13. There were many issues with this date...For starters, our extras could not make it meaning our film would have been VERY lackluster. Also, that was SuperBowl Sunday meaning the line to get to Lucia's community would have been astronomically long. Plus, I had commitments that I made beforehand with Key Club, which is the club I take major priority in as I have an officer position. So we had to change it to (02/19)

CHANGE #2: SCENES HAD TO GET CUT...OR DELETED

When we filmed on (02/11), we did not realize just how long our clip was. The length of our movie opener is very limited being only 2 minutes long. Our first clip (bathroom scene) was A WHOLE MINUTE. A lot of the scenes we originally had planned needed to be scrapped. For example: throwing up the food scene and parents arguing scene. However, the argument scene between my character (Rachel) and her boyfriend (Caeleb) as well as her friend (Ruby). 

CHANGE #3: HAIR MALFUNCTION

This was not a change...however it was a challenge. Between the dates of (02/11) and (02/19), I decided to cut my hair. My hair is a bun throughout the opening, but my new haircut made it quite difficult to put my hair in the bun without having the front pieces look insane. Eventually, Lucia lent me some of her bobby pins which allowed me to pin back the front pieces that refused to go down.
