Equipment

Alexa, as per usual, came in clutch and her father allowed us to use his camera. Our film would have been a WRECK and probably look VERY ugly if we were to not used her father's camera. Shoutout to her dad!

When we first began brainstorming everything, we intended on using both Alexa's camera, which was a Canon EOS Rebel T3, as well as Kimora's iPhone13. After close consideration, we realized that using a professional camera was probably the best choice.

As for the tripod, Alexa also let us borrow her father's Samsonite tripod.

Filters were not utilized during the filming process, we used natural lighting, plus lighting from the bathroom, living room, etc...

More equipment we used was the speaker which Lucia allowed us to play the background party music on in the backyard scenes.

The equipment, in regards to the editing process, was all done on Alexa's Mac from her home. When we had all the required footage, Alexa would upload it from the camera onto her Mac and she would edit them using the editing software, iMovie. That was the only editing software she used because it was the easiest, most practical, and most easily accessible.

When she was editing the clips, we first intended on using filters. But, during the editing process, Alexa would show us the filters, and Lucia and I both agreed most were pretty "meh". I knew there was some sort of way in which we could have upped the saturation, but we did not know exactly how. Luckily, after much trial and error, we figured it out and Alexa was able to increase the saturation on the clips which we intended on having highly saturated. For the flashback scene with Jacob and Natasha, we used a filter that was literally called "flashback".

As for the equipment used during the internal monologue scenes, I recorded my voice using Alexa's phone on an app called Voice recorder.
