initial storyboard

For our final storyboard, Lucia, Kimora, Alexa, and I had several group discussions in relation to how our storyboard would turn out. I drew all the shot pictures and then Alexa, Lucia, and I wrote the information on the back and Kimora provided feedback. Alexa, Lucia, and I stayed up on a group call in order to locate the information (shots/angles/music/transitions). All of that happened on 02/03/22 and then the following day 02/04/22, all the girls and I met up in Alexa and Lucia's study hall to finalize the storyboard. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish the storyboard in study hall, but luckily Alexa, Lucia, and I have 7th period, physics, together and we were able to finish our storyboard there.

HOW IT FLOWS: In our first six shots we see Rachel's feet walk out of the car, to the door. Then, there are close-ups of the objects at the party (red-solo cups/food). Finally, there are shots of the people at the party and a mid-shot of Rachel entering the party.

In our shots (7-14) we see Rachel talking with a friend, and get flustered/distressed as her friend asks her a personal question. We then see flashbacks, helping the audience understand why she looks stressed, but then she snaps back into reality and seems to be perfectly fine. This process repeats again as someone asks about her boyfriend, in which she gets a flashback of their terrible fights.

In shots (15-20), we see Rachel walk to talk with another friend, once again, this new friend asks a touchy question, and she thinks of her past (flashback) and seems frightened when asked the question about her weight. But, like in the scenes prior, she acts completely fine and says everything is good.

In shots (21-26), Rachel ends up walking out of the party into the bathroom to regain her cool, but whispers and the voices in her head get the best of her, but eventually, she snaps out of reality and smiles, leaving the bathroom.
