GUESS WHO FINISHED?? WE DID!

 

SUPER GOOD NEWS... We have officially finished editing and have finalized the film opening. Alexa, being our amazing editor, was able to cut down enough footage, and our film is now 1:58 seconds. On Saturday, Alexa texted the group chat and told us she was going to begin cutting down footage so we can be under two minutes. On Friday in class, we collectively discussed the parts of the film that we should cut, so Alexa took notes during this entire process. 

This was when Alexa was trying to play with different types of title openers. 

This was the font that Kimora and I were not very big fans of...Also, Alexa and Lucia realized that this font did not look good and had to fix it. 

Nonetheless, we still had to figure out how the title was going to look (the colors...the shape...etc...). Alexa, Lucia, and I were planning on figuring this all out during our seventh period since we all have the same class BUT I, unfortunately, left early. Luckily, Lucia and Alexa stayed behind, and with the help of another classmate, Zoya, they were able to narrow it down to three options. Alexa sent the options that they narrowed down to the group chat, and Kimora and I did not really like the one Lucia and Alexa liked. We shared our thoughts with Alexa and Lucia and they agreed to see what they can do.

When Lucia and Alexa tried to fix it, they realized the crazy amount of issues that came with the title they selected. They had to figure out a way to fix it (and they did :). The following day (which was Thursday) Alexa sent the updated title and it was SO MUCH BETTER. But of course, we had issues viewing it at first... On Thursday, Kimora and I were not in the United States so trying to see the new title was definitely a struggle. Our messages weren't sending and we were not able to view the full video, it was very frustrating.

I am OVER THE MOON that we have finished because that takes off so much relief. We do not have to stress working on this during Spring Break and we can just relax😄. Well... it will definitely still be a stressful break BUT we won't have the burden of finishing the film.

I can't wait for the Cambridge graders to see our film and my Disney Chanel acting.
