supporting character analysis

 

KIMORA PARBOOSINGH AS SANTANA JONES 

Santana Jones is one of Rachel Gomez's best friends. She and Rachel are closer compared to the other characters in the film. In our film, Santana is wearing black denim shorts, a light brown crop top, and black converse. She is wearing some gold jewelry such as rings, a necklace, and earrings. Her hair is in its natural state (wavy/curly) and her hair is down. Santana has a fun and easygoing personality.

NALINE PIERRE AS KAYLA LEWIS

Kayla Lewis is one of Rachel Gomez's classmates, but they are not as close compared to other side characters, like Santana and Ellie. In the film, we can see Kayla wearing a light brown/beige top, black flowy yoga pants, purple crocs, and her hair is in a pony tail. She had some makeup on as well. We don't really go into detail with Kayla's character, as her only line is "Hey Rachel".

WAYRA VALENCIA AS ASHLEY MARTIN

Ashley Martin is also one of Rachel Gomez's peers, however, they are not besties because we see Ashley ask Rachel about her new boyfriend showing that she doesn't know all too well about Rachel;s life since she asks about him. We can see Ashley wearing white shorts, a black tank top, sandals, and her hair is down. She is one of the more important side characters because she asks the question that shows the audience the flashback.

LUCIA GARCIA AS ELLIE LOPEZ

Ellie Lopez is also one of Rachel's best friends. She also didn't have any lines, and really is not that important, but still a side character who was needed to fill in the background nonetheless. She is wearing black biker shorts, a black and white crop top, and high-top vans. 

NATASHA IRANI AS RUBY FRANCIS

Ruby Francis is the enemy/frenemy of Rachel. In the opening moments, Ruby is seen wearing a tank top with several colors but not as bright as the shirt Rachel is wearing (first sign that Ruby is trying to "one-up" Rachel). She has black shorts and some white vans. Ruby is jealous of Rachel and Rachel's "perfect" life. In the flashback scene she is seen wearing black shorts and a "ruby red" top. Ruby does not get along with Rachel and actually wants to steal Rachel's man (Caeleb). Ruby is not subtle when it comes to show her disgust and disliking towards Rachel. She always makes nasty faces towards Rachel.

JACOB PINA AS CAELEB SMITH

Caeleb Smith is Rachel Gomez's boyfriend (who is a two timing pig since he's cheating on her...). He gaslights Rachel constantly and is an overall terrible boyfriend towards Rachel. He is seen wearing black jeans, a blue nike sweater, and nike sneakers. In the flashback scene with Ruby and Rachel he looks distraught (probably because he got caught and feels GUILTY). He does not love Rachel like he claims to. He is a fake and bad person.
